Traffic disruptions on Monday due to protest against Iranian Government

Around 5,000 people are expected to protest against the Iranian Government in the streets of Brussels on Monday, with traffic in the capital set to be disrupted from 10:00 to 16:00.

Demonstrators from the Iranian diaspora will take to the Belgian capital on Monday to protest the Iranian regime's violent crackdown on protests in their country.

The protest will start at Gare du Nord and end in Brussels' European Quarter, where speeches in support of demonstrators in Iran will be held.

The Bruxelles-Capital-Ixelles police zone has warned that traffic will be heavily disrupted in the capital due to the protests.

They have asked commuters to avoid the following areas: Gare du Nord, Roi Albert II, R20, Rue Joseph II, Chaussée d'Etterbeek, Rue Belliard, Avenue d'Auderghem, Avenue. de la Joyeuse Entrée, Petite Rue de la Loi.
