Line 28, which runs between Brussels-Midi and Schaerbeek, has been closed to trains since 4.50 p.m. on Wednesday after a tree fell on the tracks near Simonis, Infrabel reports.
The tree has to be removed, the railway infrastructure manager said.
Passengers can take the metro to Brussels-North or Brussels-South station, then the north-south junction to Schaerbeek, Infrabel added.
