After a week of extraordinarily warm March weather and a sunny Monday at 19°C, Brussels’ weather is taking a turn in the opposite direction. On Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April, you may indeed see snowflakes falling from the sky.

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the weather will be dry, aside from one local shower. But in the second part of the night, bad weather will be coming in from the northwest with rains that may turn into melted snow or sleet.

"Thursday a disturbance will move further east over the country with rain or (melting) snow. In the southeast, the day will start dry. In the west it will become cloudy with some showers of rain, melting snow or hail," a report from the Royal Meteorological Institute (KMI) stated.
