Bruxelles-Propreté warned Brussels residents of disruptions to waste collection in the majority of municipalities due to Tuesday's national strike.
The collection of white bags was most impacted in Etterbeek and Auderghem, where none of the bags were cleared, according to a press release by Bruxelles-Propreté.
Half of the waste was picked up in Anderlecht, Berchem Sainte-Agath, Schaarbeek, and Woluwe Saint-Pierre.
Brussels Haren, Molenbeek and Koekelberg experienced the least trouble with only 20%, 30% and 40% of bags not picked up respectively.
Worse for blue bags
The collection of blue bags was even more disrupted. All municipalities, except Anderlecht, experienced more than 90% of bags not being picked up.
