An accident between a motorcycle and a van occurred at 18:16 on Monday evening on the Brussels Inner Ring Road, resulting in the motorcyclist being taken to hospital and traffic being disrupted.
The accident happened near 19 Avenue des Arts, the Spokesperson for the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police zone, Ilse Van de Keere, told Belga News Agency on Monday evening. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, but his health is no longer in danger.

Traffic was disrupted while the emergency services intervened, cleared the vehicles involved from the roadway and sought to determine the circumstances of the accident, which were not immediately disclosed.
At about 20:15, one lane was still closed to traffic, but cars were passing in both directions.
