Since 12:30, tram lines 3 and 7 have been disrupted between the Van Praet and De Wand stops because of the heatwave.
A consequence of today's high temperatures is the disruption of public transport in Brussels.
As reported by STIB on Tuesday afternoon, today's heat caused the tramway's overhead line to stretch and collapse of three tram pantographs.

As a result, shuttle buses have been deployed between the Esplanade and Van Praet stops on line 3 and the Heysel and Van Praet stops on line 7 while repairs are being carried out. The disruption might last a couple more hours.
