King Philippe and Prime Minister Alexander De Croo officially opened the 100th edition of the Brussels Motor Show on Friday evening, at the end of the day dedicated to the press.

Other personalities attending the launch, held at Brussels Expo, included Brussels Mayor Philippe Close, Federal Mobility Minister Georges Gilkinet, Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder and Wallonia’s Minister for Road Safety, Valérie De Bue.

During his presence at Brussels Expo, the King took the opportunity to visit the Patio, which offers a glimpse into the automotive past thanks to some 15 emblematic vehicles.

He was then received by members of the Belgian and Luxembourg Automobile and Cycle Federation, Febiac, organisers of the Motor Show.

The Brussels Motor Show will open its doors to the general public from Saturday to 22 January
