The Brussels fire department received around 40 call-outs on Saturday due to flooding caused by the recent heavy rain.
This was confirmed by fire department spokesman Walter Derieuw.
They were called out to the Arts-Loi and Stéphanie tunnels and nine blocked road drains, and also had to go to 18 houses throughout the capital.
