A tram derailed after colliding with a bus in Schaerbeek on Monday evening, according to Brussels public transport operator STIB.
The collision occurred at around 18:30 at Place Meiser between tramline seven and bus line 12. The tram driver suffered minor injuries and no one else was hurt.
Tram services continued undisturbed despite the incident but bus services on lines 12 and 63 were temporarily disrupted.
The Brussels Fire Brigade sent a "fire engine, an ambulance and an emergency medical unit" to the scene, spokesperson Walter Derieuw confirmed to Belga News Agency.
