A tram derailed in Watermael-Boitsfort on Monday morning, with no injuries reported.
At around 08:30, the tram came off its tracks at the Gare de Boitsfort stop, public transport operator STIB confirmed to Belga News Agency.
Tramline 8 was disrupted between Boondael and Wiener as a result and shuttle services are now operating on this section of the route.
Three carriages ended up off the tracks, causing part of the tram to go on the road. A specialised recovery truck has been discharged to realign the tram, which STIB expects to be a lengthy process.
