The 13th edition of the Zinneke Parade captivated hundreds of spectators in the heart of Brussels on Saturday afternoon.

Tourists and locals alike lined the streets from Saint-Géry to Grand Place to catch a glimpse of the unique floats and artist performances. 18 artistic groups, or 'zinnodes', from various parts of the capital, entertained the observing public.

This year's theme was 'PlaiZir', expressed through comical, extravagant, surreal and colourful performances. The event celebrated Brussels' diversity, blending the city's diverse genres and cultures.

Actors, guided by two professional artists, created the 'zinnodes' over an eight-month period, which is why the parade takes place every other year. The 13th edition concluded around 17:00, followed by a final act at the Bourse square.
