'Together for Palestine', the biggest charity concert ever organised in Belgium in support of the Palestinian cause on Saturday 8 February is sold out, organisers announced on Wednesday.
The event, preceded by editions in London and Paris, will bring together some 30 artists for an evening dedicated to solidarity and hope at Les Halles de Schaerbeek.
The artists include Iliona, Baloji, Flavien Berger, zonmai, Nicolas Michaux and others. Other prominent voices, such as Dr Ahmad Moghrabi (who set up the Compassionate Hearts For Palestine association) and Dutch actress Carice Van Houten, best-known for her role in the Game of Thrones series, will attend, among many others.
The aim of the charity concert is to raise public awareness of the situation of families living in Gaza and to raise funds for two organisations working for the health and dignity of Palestinians: Medical Aid for Palestinians NGO and Compassionate Hearts For Palestine.
