On Friday morning, a traffic accident occurred on Vilvoordselaan in Brussels, injuring two people. Both were taken to hospital but their lives are not in danger, according to the Brussels Fire Brigade.
"At around 06:55, the fire brigade, medical emergency services and the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police were called to a traffic accident on Vilvoordselaan," said fire brigade spokesperson Walter Derieuw. "It involved a collision between a tractor with a trailer and a car."
The car ended up on its roof as a result of the collision. The passenger was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, but the driver was trapped.

"The door was removed to free him from his precarious position, and the two occupants were taken to hospital. The driver was taken in a regular ambulance and the passenger was accompanied by a mobile emergency team. The condition of both victims was not serious," Derieuw added.
