No passenger flights will depart from Brussels Airport in Zaventem during the national strike on 25 June, the airport announced on Thursday.
The airlines will contact affected passengers directly to inform them of their options, the airport noted.
Several staff members of the airport's security service are participating in the national strike planned for 25 June. Due to the expected disruptions and for the safety of passengers, no flights will take off from Brussels' national airport.
Arriving flights may also be affected. The airport advises passengers to check their flight status with their airline or via the airport's website.
The Brussels Times contacted the Charleroi Airport for information on any possible impact on their flights but is yet to receive a response as of time of publication.
