A shisha bar in Brussels was closed by the Brussels North zone police for illegally selling nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas.
The bar's manager was detained and will later face charges in the criminal court, according to reports from Brussels North police on Friday.
The shisha bar had previously been subjected to several inspections.
On Saturday, the police conducted another inspection and discovered ten full cylinders of nitrous oxide, which were confiscated.
The manager was arrested and placed at the disposal of the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The Prosecutor’s Office ordered the judicial closure of the shisha bar and decided to summon the manager immediately to the criminal court.
