The Brussels Innovates trade fair will showcase innovations from the 13th to the 15th of November

The Palais 10 of Brussels Expo will welcome the trade fair for innovation, entrepreneurship and new technologies called “Brussels Innovates”.  For its 63rd event, the 4,000 metres squared of exposition space will showcase around 300 inventions and innovations from around 20 countries. A pavilion will be put aside for Belgian creations and another for international projects.

“The exhibitors will present products that range from technological, ecological, fun and entertaining inventions to gadgets and other everyday objects designed to meet consumer needs” the organisers explained in a press release.

Among the inventions offered is an interchangeable jewellery system, a moveable balcony with a guard for cats and/or plants and even a special knife to hollow out fruits and vegetables.

An exposition entitled DI.LU.I (Interactive Light Devices) will be on offer in different areas of Palais 10, with the aim of offering innovative means of lighting, that are respectful of the environment and use less energy.

The best inventions and innovations will receive awards during the prize-giving ceremony for the Brussels Eureka competition on the 15th of November.
