Brussels Airport: Two drug smugglers intercepted in possession of 644g of cocaine

Two Dutch drug smugglers, a 29-year-old mand and a 22-year-old woman, were stopped at Brussels' Zaventem Airport on Saturday, and found to have at least 644g of cocaine on them. The suspects were brought before the Public Prosecutor and an investigating judge, charged with possessing and exporting illegal drugs as part of a conspiracy, reported Hal-Vilvorde public prosecutor's department on Sunday.

The suspects were intercepted at around 4.00 pm at Brussels Airport. When the woman was searched, 644g of cocaine were found concealed under her clothes.  The man tried to escape during the procedure but was quickly secured.  He was found to have 5,000 euros on him.
