Bob movement action at Brussels Christmas market

The Mobility minister Jacqueline Galant, accompanied by a Bob movement team, gave out hats and scrapers to visitors at the Brussels Christmas market. The aim was to make people aware of the dangers of drink-driving, a few days before the end of year festivities. “Every year, 200 people lose their lives due to a drunk driver and we want to draw attention to this, so as to reduce deaths due to drink-diving”, said the Mobility minister Jacqueline Galant as the festivities approach.

“Young people who have grown up with the Bob campaigns are more sensitive to its messages. However, drivers aged 40 to 54 years old are more likely to break the law and give the highest results in positive blood alcohol level tests”, she said.
