3 people suffered minor injuries in a collision between a tramway operating on line 4 and a waste truck in Forest on Tuesday morning. They are the tram driver, a passenger, and the driver of the lorry, revealed Stib. The accident affected line 3 trams, and to a lesser degree tramways on lines 4 and 92. The accident happened in Forest, where Albert Avenue crosses Moliere Avenue, at approximately 9:15am. Currently there are no line 3 trams after the Berkendael stop, and one stop is not covered. Repairs are already taking place on lines 4 and 92, and shuttles are in place between the Berkendael and the Stalle tram stops.

“The front truck of the tramway left the tracks during the collision. It must be reinstated inside the tracks so that the train can be moved to be repaired elsewhere,” pointed out Stib.
