One person was killed and another seriously injured in a shooting in Brussels on Saturday morning, La Dernière Heure has reported. It has been confirmed by local police. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of the victims are not known.
The incident took place between 8am and 8.30am on Saturday, in rue de Malines. The Brussels Prosecutor’s Office went to the scene, accompanied by investigating judge Sophie Grégoire and the judicial police laboratory.
The early stages of the investigation indicate it was a revenge shooting between Albanian criminal gangs.
