Asylum seekers – 210 asylum seekers register with Immigration Office on Tuesday

210 asylum seekers were able to apply at the Immigration Office on Tuesday. These include 108 people who were called in for a second interview, and 102 who are more vulnerable migrants (minors, families with children, the elderly, etc.), pointed out Dominique Ernould, Immigration Office spokesperson, on Tuesday.

Approximately 100 people went to apply for asylum at the Immigration Office on Monday morning, only to find the doors closed because of the terror threat.

The Immigration Office has not yet been able to recall asylum seekers who could not be interviewed on Tuesday, as the two premises where this takes place are located at the entrance of a building at 59 B, Chaussée d'Anvers, which is currently closed because of the terror threat.
