The SPF Intérieur (the federal public service for home affairs) crisis centre has put in place an emergency number (1771). However this is momentarily, at the time of writing, overloaded, it has stated via Twitter. The problem should soon be resolved. The centre appeals to the public to check the crisis centre’s Twitter account (@CrisiscenterBE) so as to remain abreast of the number's status.
