The three persons suspected of the attacks on Tuesday morning at Brussels Airport in Zaventem arrived by taxi to the airport. This said the mayor of the municipality of Zaventem, Francis Vermeirenm, to Belga news agency.
According to the surveillance cameras, the suspected terrorists had been carrying their luggage containing the explosives on trolleys before separating in the departure hall.
The images also show one of them abandoning his trolley and running away. A bomb squad neutralized the luggage, the mayor said.
The police was able to locate the address of one of the suspected terrorists from the taxi driver. Their behavior aroused his suspicion. He called the police after learning about the attack and told them the address where he had been looking for them.
