In a few days trains should, once again, both arrive and leave Brussels Airport owing to the reuse of the former station, which is situated below the airport at Zaventem. However, the police and the fire service still have to, however, approve its operation, De Tijd reports on Friday.
Since the March 22nd attacks, trains from and to the airport have ceased. The main station normally provides direct access to the departure lounge, which was both affected by the terrorist attacks and is still closed at the current time.
By reopening the former station, passengers will have direct access to the Brussels Airport check-in service.
