Experts appointed in investigation of terror attack in Brussels
Tuesday, 10 May 2016
The parliamentary commission of inquiry has appointed two new experts. This followed the withdrawal last week of two experts, Willy Bruggeman, president of the Federal Police Council, and Dirk Van Dale, professor at KULeuven, whose independence was questioned by the opposition parties.
The two new experts who will join the commission of inquiry are Paul Martens, former president of the Constitutional Court, who will be in charge of the legal aspects of the work of the commission, and Simon Petermann, in charge of the issue of radicalization.
