The festival continues today. The 40th edition of the popular festival started yesterday (9 July) at Osseghem park close to Atomium.
"We can already say that it is a great success," said spokesperson Hedwige Pint. Both the Théâtre de Verdure and the Brosella Village Kids, a novelty for this year with children concerts and workshops, were full.
Also new at the festival is the Brussels Poets Speakers’ Corner in cooperation with the Brussels Poetry Collective. Poets of different national origin, working and living in Brussels, will participate.
Picture and poster exhibitions retracing the 40 years of the festival will take place at the ‘Parlement francophone bruxellois’ and the ‘Raad van de Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie’(Parliament of the Brussels Capital-Region) as well as in La Tentation in Brussels.
