Kenyan Eric Kering won the 13th Brussels Marathon on Sunday morning. He finished in 2 hours, 16 minutes and 50 seconds.
Belgian olympian Willem Van Schuerbeek, 31, got second place with 2:21:33. He came 56th in the Rio Olympic Games this summer.
Third place went to Kenyan James Emuria, who finished the capital’s difficult route in 2:24:22.
Virginie Vandroogenbroeck won the women’s race in 2:53:41.
