The home of the person who stabbed two police officers in Brussels has been searched

The judge who specializes in anti-terrorism cases decided later on his continued detention. According to a source in the judiciary, the perpetrator is a former military.

The attack occurred on Boulevard Lambermont in Schaerbeek. Two officers were assaulted by a man armed with a knife. One officer was wounded in the neck and the other one in the stomach but are out of danger.

According to preliminary information, the perpetrator did not make any demands. He was overpowered by another police patrol, which shot him in the leg. The man is not in danger and also managed to wound the police officer who neutralized him by breaking his nose.

According to certain sources, the perpetrator was hit by a vehicle of the federal police in recent years.
