About ten people dressed in black came and attacked demonstrators from the Kurdish opposition who are currently protesting in Brussels. Fighting broke out on Boulevard du Roi Albert II and Jardin Botanique, according to Belga news agency.

The police stated that Turkish activists arrived to the Pro-Kurdish demonstration to provoke. Police units quickly arrived to intervene but the situation remains very tense.

About 2000 to 2500 members from the Kurdish opposition have staged a demonstration from 11 am this morning in the Belgian capital. They are protesting against President Recep Tahhip Erdogan’s Turkish regime and denounce “the weak and fearful EU attitude” towards President Erdogan.
