Tusk, Juncker and Belgium's Marianne Thyssen have all been swift to express their sorrow following the Berlin attack.

“Europe is on standby to help,” the President of the European Council Donald Tusk indicated on the social network Twitter.
He was writing of the attack which took place yesterday evening in Berlin's Christmas Market. It has now taken the lives of least 12 people. Tusk offered his condolences to the victims' relatives in this same tweet.
