The dentist had initially worked in Namur but moved his clinic to the Ganshoren commune in Brussels in 2012. The first complaints of his conducts were already made in 2007 but no follow ups were ever made.
Since moving his clinic to Brussels in 2012, more and more testimonies of his sexual harassment dropped in. The authorities finally took action when a patient reported that he raped her.
One victim explained that the dentist deliberately increased the dose of anaesthetics, so that she would be powerless.
Up until now at least four victims have filled charges against him, however there are concerns that there could be many more involved, as the 48 year old dentist works with many minors who might have been afraid to come forward.
The Brussels court has sentenced the dentist to 5 years in prison.
