The road linking the R0 from Waterloo to the E19/A7 in the direction of Brussels is closed to traffic from Wednesday morning to Monday evening due to work on some link roads on the Haut-Ittre interchange, according to the Complementary Infrastructure Financing Company, SOFICO. "A deviation will be arranged through the R0,” SOFICO explained. “Users will be asked to turn around just before the N28 roundabout. For security reasons, due to this deviation, users travelling on the N28 will not be able to go directly onto the R0. They will be deviated through the E19/A7 and the Nivelles Nord access road.”
Coming from Waterloo, the R0 will be reduced locally to one lane instead of two in the area leading to the interchange.
The R0 in the direction of Waterloo will be reduced to one lane at the interchange from Tuesday 30 October to Tuesday 6 November due to certain operations that will mark the end of the works.
The latter started on 24 September. They include resurfacing a 3.5-km stretch of the road between Nivelles Nord and Haut-Ittre in the Brussels direction, and redoing part of the interchange, adding a second lane to some link roads.
