Works on Brussels ring road from March 18th

The Flemish Agency for Roads and Circulation (known as Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer or the AWV) will start works on the Brussels ring road (numbered R0) in the Drogenbos area on March 18th. The works are to be completed during the night on weeknights only.

The works will take place over a distance of one kilometre, replacing upper and lower layers of asphalt. The roads will remain open to traffic whilst the works continue. Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., car drivers will only be able to use a single lane. On two occasions (March 29th and April 5th), the restriction to a single lane will last until 10 a.m.

From the current 678 branches, the bank will reduce to 592 by the end of the year and 411 at the end of 2021 A diversion will be provided for traffic on these nights.
