STIB abandons Bodegem tram stop
Transport company STIB has announced that it will no longer be using the Bodegem tram stop, between the Porte d'Anderlecht and the Lemonnier stop. Tram lines 51 and 82 will now just pass by the stop, due in part to the distance between the Bodegem and the Porte d'Anderlecht stops being considered too short.

The whole of Boulevard du Midi and the Boulevard Poincaré, between the Gare du Midi and the Porte de Ninove, is currently under renovation works. As part of this cycle paths will be created and the tram stops will also be refurbished. The Porte d'Anderlecht stop will soon be given a new look.
