A person was taken to the hospital late on Thursday morning suffering from smoke inhalation following a fire in a building in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. Firefighters are currently still on the scene trying to put out the fire, said Walter Derieuw, spokesman for the Brussels fire brigade.
"A fire broke out on the top floor of a seven-storey building on Edmond Machtens Boulevard in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean this Thursday morning," Walter Derieuw told Belga.
