As part of the investigation into the terror attack in Brussels on 16 October, in which two Swedish football supporters were killed, a man was charged and imprisoned in Paris on Thursday – bringing the number of charges in France to four.

The fourth man is suspected of helping perpetrator Abdesalem Lassoued obtain a weapon, Belga News Agency reports. During the attack, Lassoued – a 45-year-old Muslim extremist from Tunisia – shot dead two Swedes with a machine gun and severely injured another in Brussels.

Police shot Lassoued, for whom Tunisia had issued an extradition request, on 17 October. After information from the judicial authorities in Belgium, the National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor's Office (PNAT) opened an investigation that same day.
