Brussels Airlines plans to recruit at least 380 new members of staff in 2024. The majority of these new roles will be as flight attendants.

Last week, German airline group Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines' parent company, announced plans to hire around 13,000 people this year, including the 380 openings at Brussels Airlines.

Most of the vacancies (180) will be filled by cabin crew members. The recruitment process for these roles has already been completed, and successful applicants will be starting their training in the coming weeks.

The areas with the highest number of vacancies within Brussels Airlines are maintenance and engineering, with more than 60 positions available, such as cabin maintenance technicians. Over 50 vacancies also exist in ground operations, like airport passenger service agents.

Meanwhile, airline TUI fly stated on Monday that it is seeking 318 employees, including 246 cabin crew members, 72 students, and 15 students for its pilot academy.
