The CEO of American investment giant Blackstone, Steve Schwarzman, earned $896.7 million (€682 million) in 2023, a 30% decrease from the record $1.27 billion he earned the previous year.
Schwarzman amassed $777 million in dividends from his 20% stake in the asset management company, according to filings with the regulator. Another $120 million was added as bonus and interest.
With an estimated net worth of $41.8 billion, Schwarzman, one of the co-founders of Blackstone, ranks among the world’s wealthiest people.
