This tiny shop with an old Belgian tiled floor and a quirky name sells rare luxury notebooks, writing equipment, city guides and maps.
Owner Sofie Rombouts hunts out elusive brands, including elegant notebooks crafted in Poland, sensual Japanese writing paper and beautiful cards by Hungarian illustrator Anna Kövecses.
It is also one of the rare spots in Belgium where you can find Herb Lester’s wonderful maps of New York, London and other beloved cities.
The shop is located not far from Grand’Place in the narrow Rue des Eperonniers. Despite the location, the street has kept its quirky charm, with each shop identified by a stylish hanging sign.
