After slowing down slightly on Monday at around 11 a.m., the BEL 20 and its European neighbours resumed their progression with greater conviction.

The BEL 20 finally gained 1.41% to end the day on 3,753.22 points with all its elements in the green except for Ageas (41.40) and Galapagos (41.31), which lost 0.05% and 0.10% respectively.

VGP (81.10) stood out with a 4.24% gain, ahead of Umicore (35.37) and Solvay (97.44) which rose by 3.06% and 3.15% respectively.

UCB (74.50) and arGEN-X (352.10) appreciated by 1.28% and 1.09%, while Aperam (30.36) and Sofina (211.60) went up by 2.95% and 2.92%.

AB InBev (56.90) and Colruyt (21.78) were worth 1.12% and 2.25% more than on Friday, while KBC (60.38) was up 0.50%.

Elia (134.30) and GBL (75.50) went up by 1.13% and 1.23% respectively.  Aedifica (77.45) and Cofinimmo (85.95) were up by 2.18% and 2.69%, Proximus (9.14) and D’Ieteren (181.10) by 1.65% and 1.06%, and Recticel (16.22) and Deceuninck (2.52) by 4.4% and 2.6% respectively.

Econocom (3.06) and Qrf (9.70) jumped by 7.2% and 6.1%, while Kinepolis (40.58) and Ontex (6.52) recovered 4.6% and 4.5%.

Euronav (16.48) and Exmar (8.07) moved up by 5.0% and 1.9% respectively, DEME (125.56) and CFE (9.87) by 1.2% and 3.4%, Bpost (4.97) and Belysse (1.18) by 3.4% and 3.9%, and Agfa-Gevaert (2.75) and Barco (23.76) by 3%.

DMS Imaging (0.0524) fell by 5.7%.

Oxurion (0.0202) and Mithra (3.61) jumped by 6.3% and 6%, while Biosenic (0.10) and Biocartis (0.55) gained 4.2% each.

At around 4.30 pm, the euro was at US$ 1.0670, up from 1.0685 in the morning and 1.0675 on Friday.

Gold bullion traded at around €54,950, up €215.
