Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced his resignation on Wednesday as part of a government reshuffle ordered by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Fedorov said in a message on Telegram that it had been “a great honour” to serve the Ukrainian people as defence minister.

In a lengthy post, he listed what he described as Ukraine’s achievements during his time in office.

Fedorov had led Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence since January.
