The Royal Meteorological Institute, IRM, has issued a yellow alert for slippery conditions between 18:00 Friday and 12:00 Saturday in the provinces of Liège, Hainaut, Namur, Walloon Brabant, Flemish Brabant and Brussels.
The IRM is also warning of fog and is therefore issuing a yellow alert to this effect, between 16:00 Friday and 14:00 Saturday in all the Flemish provinces, Hainaut, Walloon Brabant and Brussels.
"During the evening and tonight, dense and sometimes freezing fog will again form in many places, with visibility sometimes limited to less than 200 metres," the institute warned.
" To the south of the Sambre et Meuse corridor, the skies will remain generally clear, with only patches of freezing fog in the valleys," it added.
