The Belgian film “Keeper” awarded at the Hamburg festival

The film “Keeper” by Belgian director Guillaume Senez, received the NDR Young Talent Award at the Hamburg film festival, in Germany.
The 5,000 euro prize is handed out by the regional German channel NDR (Norddeutsher Rundfunk) to promote the work of a young film maker, Wallonia-Brussels Images announced on Saturday morning.

This new prize comes the day after it won an award at the Namur International French-language Film festival (FIFF). Guillaume Senez won the critics prize.

The film tells the story of Maxime (Kacey Mottet-Klein) and Melanie (Galatea Bellugi), both aged 15. Melanie finds out she’s pregnant. Maxime wants to keep the baby, at all costs.
