Jamioulx baker murder – Abdelah Mostefa caught after 3 years on the run

Abdelah Mostefa, who was sentenced to a 30-year prison sentence for the murder of the Jamioulx and who escaped from the Jamioulx prison in July 2011, was apprehended on Thursday. On Friday he will face the investigating judge for having taken a prison guard hostage. On July 31, 2011, three prisoners from Jamioulx prison took a prison guard hostage, holding a knife to his throat and threatening to spray him with petrol and set him on fire. Julien Cazzetta, Jonathan Inja and Abdelah Mostefa managed to leave the building and flee by carjacking several vehicles.

After few days on the run, Julien Cazzetta was apprehended. He has since been given a further 30 years in jail for a murder committed at Bar Victoria in Gosselies (Charleroi). Jonathan Inja was captured in Berck (France). He was given an additional 10-year sentence for hostage-taking in the Jamioulx prison, which adds to his previous 15 years for the attempted assassination of his ex-partner.

Abdelah Mostefa was intercepted this Friday, after three years on the run. He was brought before Martine Michel, the investigating judge, on Friday morning and arrested for hostage-taking.
