Shots exchanged on a square in the Dutch town of Rosendael

Dutch police blocked access to the Market square (De Markt) in Rosendael, not far from the Belgian border, on Sunday morning. This was due to a possible exchange of gunfire. According to a Dutch information site, Omroep Brabant, one or several armed men holed up in a café, where there was an exchange of gunfire. An elite unit is at the scene, police have confirmed.  Agents are near the establishment with guns in hand and bullet proof vests, according to photos published by Omroep Brabant.

An ambulance is also at the scene.
