Around 20 football supporters were arrested between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday, on the Place de la Vaillance in Anderlecht. They were following the friendly Anderlecht – Lazio match taking place at the Constant Vanden Stock stadium, a Brussels-Midi police spokesman said. The situation was under control by 7pm. While the sale of tickets in Italy was banned for security reasons, Italian supporters met up on Place de la Vaillance. They got into a fight with Anderlecht supporters. Police have said that round 50 people were involved, but no-one was seriously injured.
