The Zoute Grand Prix brings 150,000 people to Knokke

This year’s Zoute Grand Prix brought in 150,000 visitors, the organisers announced on Friday. The 6th Zoute Grand Prix will take place from the 8th to the 11th of October. It had 130,000 visitors last year.

Numerous celebrities will take part in the different races. As well as Matthias Schoenaerts, who will drive a 1937 BWM Mille Miglia, Xavier Malisse, the former Dutch Prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende and the former F1 drivers Derek Bell and Jochen Mass will also take part.

The British auction house Bonham will auction off exceptional pieces for the third year in a row on Friday. The selection includes a 2011 Ferrari 599 GTS SA Aperta (price estimated at between 800,000 and 1,200,000 euros), a 1971 Ferrari  365 GTB/4 Daytana (750,000 – 950,000 euros) a 1980 BWM M1 (450,000 - 650,000) and a 1989 Lambourghini Countach estimated at between 330,000 and 400,000 euros.
