A suspicious envelope was found at a postal distribution centre in Nivelles on Thursday morning, revealed the office of the public prosecutor in the Walloon Brabant province. Checks are taking place to ascertain what the substance found in the envelope is.
Staff from the Nivelles postal distribution centre found an envelope containing white powder on Thursday, shortly before 9:00am. People who have been in contact with it are in quarantine, and the premises where the suspicious discovery was made are off-limits. A team for the civil protection service is expected on site for the usual checks.
