A 35 year old female Pukkelpop worker was hit by a car at 12.30am on Saturday. This was revealed in a statement by the event’s head of communication, Frederik Luyten. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The victim was seriously hurt, but her life is not in danger. One of her colleagues, a 42 year old woman, was also hurt. Local police are investigating the incident.
The two workers were on foot when they were hit by a car in Kiewitstraat. The victims were taken to the Hasselt hospital.
