The mobile application of Argenta Bank is available again as of Friday morning thanks to technical work effected during the night. However, online banking does not work yet. Argenta will consider restarting it after its offices have opened and capacity sufficient.
Argenta has been faced with IT problems for several days, preventing customers from using the mobile app and online banking services. Argenta will give priority to financial transactions and the operations of its offices on Friday.
In an e-mail to customers, CEO Marc Lauwers explained Thursday evening that “even if all offices, online banking and mobile application are active at the same time, the system is still not capable of working in a stable fashion”.
